Bereavement Support



Grieving is a process that needs to be worked through.  There is no right or wrong way to grieve and the time taken for healing to occur varies considerably between individuals.

The feelings you experience when you are bereaved are healthy, normal and part of the healing process.  The bereavement program provides:

  • A trained grief counsellor.
  • District nurses.
  • Trained volunteers.
  • Support Groups.



Who can use the service?

Palliative care clients and their family/carers.



Hours of Opening:

Monday - Thursday: 2.30 pm > 4.30 pm 
Friday: 9.00 am > 1.00 pm

*Appointments are necessary for Grief Counselling.

18 - 26 Jemmeson Street, Lakes Entrance.
