Excercise Pathology



The term 'Excercise Physiologist' (EP) describes an exercise specialist who is able to design and deliver exercise programs.  They specialise in excersise for rehabilitation, exercise for health and well being, chronic and complex medical conditions, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and work conditioning.  EP's are trained in preventing the onset of disease through exercise and lifestyle modification, in the treatment of disease, understanding interactions of exercise and pharmacology, managing multiple medical conditions, attending to the risk factor, health education and in providing post acute strategies that faciliate long term behaviour change. 



Who can use the service?

Whole of community can use the service.



Hours of Opening:

Friday: 8.30 am > 5.00 pm

Cost:

  • $8.00 per visit for Concession Card Holders.
  • Fees for Non Concession Card Holders are based on a sliding scale.

NB: Inability to pay does not mean you will be denied access to service.  Fees are subject to change without notice.
