Riding waves to a brighter future
Over 40 young Koori kids took to the waves at Cape Conran last week as part of the Lakes Entrance Indigenous Aquatics Project.
Project manager Steve Parker, Aboriginal surfer and committed surf coach, has worked closely with the Lakes Entrance and Lake Tyers communities over the last 18 months to establish a core group of Koori kids to participate in this water safety focused project.
