Physically Active Koorie Kids

Koorie specific kindergym for aboriginal children under five years of age. The Physically Active Koorie Kids program focuses on children having fun while developing good physical activity patterns in a safe and friendly environment. The weekly session are lead by qualified staff, with parents and carers encouraged to participate with their children. Parents/carers are provided with education and support that may be included in play at home or in the child care facility.

Who can use the service?

Members of the Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance and Lake Tyers Aboriginal communities.

Operating Hours

  • Bairnsdale East Steiner Kinder: Mondays, 10.30 am > 11:30 am
  • Boorai/GEGAC: Tuesdays, 10.30 am > 12.00 midday
  • Lakes Entrance Primary School: Tuesdays, 1.30 pm > 3.00 pm
  • Lake Tyers Aboriginal Trust: Wednesdays, 10.00 am > 12 midday
  • Boorai/GEGAC: Fridays, 10.30 am > 12.00 midday
