The Youth Justice Program works in partnership with the DHS Youth Justice Program and other internal and external services, in an effort to provide a holistic, intensive and coordinated care plan that responds to the individual needs of youth who have been detained or who are subject to an order due to offending behaviours. We provide direct and emotional support and practical assistance to youths to assist them to develop their social and independent living skills within the community. We aim to assist youth to actively engage in work and training opportunities. We provide information and access to other services and take an active role in assisting them to remain engaged with appropriate services.
