This medical practice has a well equipped accident and emergency facility with an experienced nurse on the premises for the triage, assessment and initial care. A doctor is on call for all urgent medical care. Additional nursing services include wound management, immunisations, and general health advice.

Gippsland Lakes Community Health has an arrangement for after hour care with Bairnsdale Regional Health Service. If an emergency arises outside of our opening hours, please contact either the ambulance by ringing 000 or Bairnsdale Regional Health Service on 03 5150 3333.

Cost

Nursing charges: as per Department of Human Services Community Health Fees Guidelines.

Doctor charges: Holders of health care cards, children under 16, aged and specific DVA pension card holders will be bulk billed for all Medicare rebateable services.

Practice billing and nursing charges are displayed at reception and are payable at the time of consultation.

Please note there may be additional costs related to appointments with specialists and referral to other service providers.
